Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Pokepacks Discord bot ("Pokepacks", "we") stores about you, why, and how to have it removed. Pokepacks is a hobby project run by one developer (Discord: @lozchy).

What we store

Pokepacks only stores what the game needs to work. For each server it's used in, it stores:

• Your Discord user ID, linked to your game data in that server: the cards you own, your packs, timers and pack points, your daily streak and mission progress, your wishlist and showcase, and whether you turned on full-pack DMs with /notify.
• Game history: the packs you open, and trades you take part in (who traded with whom, and which cards).
• Server settings chosen by the server's admins: the server ID, channel and role IDs, and game settings.
• An admin log of admin actions (for example giving a player a card), with the admin's user ID.

We don't read or store your messages, and we don't store your username, avatar, email address or IP address. The bot only sees the slash commands you use and the buttons you press.

How we use it

Only to run the game: to show your collection, keep the leaderboard, run trades, and send the DMs you asked for. We don't sell or share your data, don't use it for advertising, and don't use it to train AI models.

Who can see it

Your collection, profile, showcase and leaderboard position are visible to other members of the server you play in, as part of the game. Your game data in one server isn't visible in another.

Where it's kept, and for how long

The bot and its data run on a server in Australia (Microsoft Azure). A backup is made every night to Microsoft Azure storage, which is encrypted at rest, and each backup is deleted after 30 days. Game data is kept until it's deleted: when you ask us to, or when a server admin resets a player with /pokeadmin reset.

Your choices

• Turn off full-pack DMs at any time with /notify.
• Ask a server admin to reset your data in that server, or contact us to delete your data in every server. We'll do it within 30 days (backups expire within 30 days after that).

Children

Pokepacks is for Discord users, who must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires).

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
